Objective:
To visually capture the energy and scale of local fireworks shows through dynamic photography for use in future PR packages, social media promotion, and event sponsorship decks.
The Challenge:
Local fireworks shows often struggle to stand out in a saturated summer events calendar. With limited high-quality visual assets, organizers found it difficult to excite sponsors, attract press, or showcase the experience online.

We developed a plan to strategically photograph the fireworks displays and surrounding festivities with a focus on:

Wide and close-up fireworks compositions
Iconic Long Beach landmarks and skyline backdrops
Timed shots that matched the event’s peak visual impact
We coordinated with event staff for ideal shooting locations, showtimes, and light cues to capture the most compelling moments.

Vertical and horizontal crops for press kits, posters, and reels
A curated 12-photo highlight reel for social media
3 short-form video loops (ideal for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook)
